Delays and confusion over testing of the Covid Card mean the technology has yet to make it to the wider public, despite the Health Minister saying trials were underway.
A Rotorua-based trial of the bluetooth technology was due to start last month but is instead only starting next week.
Chris Hipkins today told RNZ the trials had begun, and he was waiting on the results.
