The Crown has wrapped up its case against a man accused of physically and sexually abusing his ex-girlfriend.
The man - who is in his 20s - is on trial in the High Court at Auckland after pleading not guilty to eight charges - including sexual violation and threatening to kill.
His defence lawyer cross-examined the complainant today - scrutinising why the woman now recalls more violence than she initially told the police.
