Confidential patient and staff information stolen in last week's ransomware cyber attack on the Waikato DHB is confirmed to be genuine.
Files were leaked to four media organisations, including RNZ on Monday night.
The DHB confirmed its authenticity this afternoon. Andrew McRae reports.
