Miriama McDowell: Head High TV series normalising diversity

From First Up, 5:30 am on 9 August 2021

Kiwi drama is returning to our screens with the second series of Head High premiering tonight. Head High is a locally made family drama series about the hopes, dreams and expectations of high school rugby - told through the eyes of rugby mum Renee, her 'rugby coach' Husband and their Whanau. Miriama McDowell won the NZTV Award last year for Best Actor in the role of Renee. Nathan Rarere asked her when she knew the series was going to be renewed for a second season.
