Man shares story of terminally ill dad, MIQ issues

After a stoush which has made headlines around the world, pregnant journalist Charlotte Bellis has been granted an emergency MIQ spot so can come home from Afghanistan. But of course there are more New Zealanders facing equally desperate situations who are being denied entry. One of them is Kurt Lehndorf who's been told that his father doesn't have long to live. He's been unable to secure a room in MIQ and with each day that passes he becomes more fearful he won't be able to say goodbye. Kurt spoke with our producer Matthew Theunissen.
