National party says government owes public apology following Barclay resignation

The National Party says the Government owes the public an explanation following the official resignation of KiwiBuild's chief. In a statement issued on his behalf, Stephen Barclay announced he would step down from today. Last month, the Housing Minister, Phil Twyford confirmed Mr Barclay had not been at work for a number of weeks.
