Fire fighters in Napier have now contained a large forest fire that doubled in size overnight. The blaze on Tangoio Settlement Road, that's been burning for almost 30 hours, grew to more than 300 hectares today. Fire and Emergency says conditions in the area have improved this afternoon, after strong winds hampered fire crews' initial efforts to contain the fire. The Salvation Army has been at the site today preparing food for firefighters. The organisation's Sue Campbell spoke to our reporter Ben Strang about what they've been serving up.
