Navigation for Glory in their Eyes
Glory in their Eyes
For many New Zealanders, fighting at Gallipoli was to be the biggest adventure of their lives. Fighting for King and Country was a calling and an honour, so much so that some fresh-faced young men with glory in their eyes lied about their age and set sail across international waters. An adventure indeed, and one that would cost many of them their lives.
