10:20 Salvation Army prepares for Victoria's third lockdown

Tonight at midnight local time the Australian state of Victoria will begin its third lockdown. Premier Daniel Andrews announced the five day lockdown today following an outbreak linked to the highly infectious UK variant at a quarantine hotel that's led to at least thirteen coronavirus cases in Melbourne. Steve Speziale of Salvation Army speaks to Karyn from Melbourne.

10:30 New Zealand's first Covid-19 vaccines are a week away

New Zealand will roll out the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine for the first time next week targetting the 12-thousand border and MIQ workers first in the coming two to three weeks.
