10:20 Melbourne heads into a seven day lockdown

The State of Victoria is hours away from a snap seven-day lockdown at midnight their time - 2am New Zealand time. Health authorities here regard the Melbourne Covid-19 outbreak to be low risk to New Zealand but say it is prudent to introduce new restrictions. Quarantine-free travel with Victoria will be paused for a further seven days - as the state goes into a week-long lockdown. Karyn speaks with Nicole Asher from the ABC in Melbourne.

10.40 The Rest Is History: Guilty On The Gallows

On the 28th of May, 1920, Dennis Gunn was convicted for the murder of Auckland postmaster Augustus Braithwaite.
Mr Braithwaite was found dead from gunshot wounds. On The Rest Is History tonight Karyn speaks with Sherwood Young who wrote about this case in his book Guilty on the Gallows.
