When the volcanic eruption happened in Tonga on the 16th January, not only did it cause catastrophic harm to the nation but it completely cut the communications cable which lies on the sea bed and links Tonga and Fiji. Not only does the technology need repairing, but so does the law in regard to undersea cables. Joining us to explain is University of Canterbury law professor Karen Scott

Sheep farming in New Zealand was established in the 1850s and played a huge part in New Zealand's economy, but these days it can be hard to come by. The wool industry has been hit hard in recent times as farmers are losing money due to high shearing costs and low wool prices. The Campaign for Wool New Zealand chairman Tom O'Sullivan believes the promotion of wool as a sustainable insulation alternative will play a part in addressing the current crisis.
