Dunedin Railways are causing a stir amongst railway buffs as they prepare to sell heritage assets. Six wooden carriages built between 1912 and 1923 are at the centre of the debate in which Dunedin Railways no longer believes to be suitable for commercial use and now considers them to be museum pieces instead. Transport enthusiast Peter Dowden believes they are fit for use and would be a huge loss to Dunedin's tourism industry if they were to be sold.

Noosa is one of the hottest holiday spots in Queensland. The location boasts white sand and blue beaches, untouched national parks, world-class cuisine...and noisy tourists. From next week, Noosa will enforce bans on clapping, shouting, arguing and singing in a bid to stop the noise. Many believe the new laws are too strict but Noosa Shire Council deputy mayor Frank Wilkie believes the steps are necessary.
