Community Law uncertain legal aid boost goes far enough

The government's Budget gives more money to legal aid over the next five years, but the jury's out on whether it'll help the most disadvantaged people in the country access justice. Over the next year, funding will go up almost $48 million - with an additional $10 million on top of that each year through til 2023. The chief executive of community law Sue Moroney told Max Towle the legal aid system has had a real dearth of lawyers in recent years.
