15 Viking Bay crew members test positive for Covid-19, one with Delta variant

Thirteen more mariners have tested positive for Covid-19 They arrived in Wellington yesterday on the foreign fishing vessel Viking Bay, taking the total of infected crew members to 15. At least one has the delta variant. All 15 are in quarantine, and officials say the risk to the public remains low. Meanwhile, another Spanish flagged fishing vessel is coming into Port Taranaki today so its sick crew can be tested. Māni Dunlop spoke to reporter Ben Strang.
