IRD's psychometric tests 'legally dubious' - lawyer

An employment lawyer says Inland Revenue's use of psychometric testing in its restructuring is "legally dubious". The tax department is looking to shed 30 percent of its workforce by 2021 and is requiring many workers to reapply for their jobs. The Public Service Association says it's unethical, and is taking the IRD to the Employment Court. Employment lawer and principal at Buckett Law, Barbara Buckett, says the PSA is right to take action.
