Royal Commission into state abuse starts public hearings

Victims of abuse in state and faith-based care will publicly tell their stories to the Royal Commission into abuse for the first time on Tuesday.

Over the next two weeks, the Inquiry will hear from abuse survivors, academics, advocates and lawyers.
