The Green Party's foreign affairs spokesperson says Australia should be treated as a "rogue nation" that "persistently flouts human rights laws".
That's in response to Australia's move to deport a 15-year old boy across the Tasman under its 501 policy.
That law that allows for the removal of people seen as a risk to the "health, safety or good order of the Australian community", who are believed to be "not of good character", or to have certain criminal convictions.
The first minor deemed to meet these parameters is now in managed isolation.
The Prime Minister has asked for more information about the circumstances of the deportation.
Green Party foreign affairs spokesperson Golriz Ghahraman spoke to Susie Ferguson.
