The asking price for an average New Zealand house has passed $800,000 for the first time, according to Trade Me.
It is is now just over $805,000 nationwide. Their property index showed March was the seventh record month in a row with housing prices seeing no sign of slowing.
In Wellington, the average asking price broke records, rising 20 percent year-on-year to $829,500.
