The government has announced that it will extend around 10,000 working holiday visas and Supplementary Seasonsal Employment (SSE) visas for another six months to aleviate ongoing labour shortages.
Along with the changes Immigration Minister Kris Faafoi says SSE visa holders will now be allowed to work in any sector.
Border exceptions will also be made to let an additional 200 dairy workers and 50 vets into the country.
