Crown to defend accusation lockdown was unlawful

The Crown will today defend the accusation that it did not have the legal power to put the country into lockdown Levels 3 and 4. The Court of Appeal has also been told that Director General Ashley Bloomfield should not have granted officials the power to decide what businesses are essential.
