Exporters are hoping China and New Zealand can keep the politics out of their long-standing trade relationship.
The Government has joined a group of United States allies who have pointed the finger at China for sponsoring cybercriminal activity around the globe.
It's been suggested New Zealand may face repercussions over the confrontation - but exporters say trade and politics are two different things.
