By the end of Tuesday, most of the country will move back to alert level 2 - but this time its level 2, delta style.
The new rules mean cinemas, restaurants, bars, and night clubs can open back up, but with tougher safety measures than before.
All areas outside of Auckland will shift down to level 2 from 11.59pm on Tuesday.
