Breaching Covid-19 restrictions will soon mean an increased infringement fee of up to $12,000 for individuals, and even more for companies, when imposed by a court.
That signifies a hefty increase on the current penalties, which start at just $300, and wouldn't be enough to buy you a bootful of KFC.
