Ōtorohanga's mayor is shocked by what he's calling the "total disrespect for human life" when a man was killed during an apparent road rage-related brawl on Saturday night.
The police have launched a homicide investigation into the death of the 34-year old Te Kuiti man.
A post-mortem is expected to take place today.
