Record rainfall and threats of landslides have failed to deter Gisborne residents from getting tested and vaccinated for Covid-19.
Hundreds turned up to centres over the weekend, days after the virus was detected in wastewater samples in the region.
There are no MIQ facilities or known Covid-19 cases isolating in Tairāwhiti.
