ACC staff are still facing huge workloads and a backlog of jobs stretching into the tens of thousands, despite a new system designed to improve efficiency.
The new case management system, up and running for more than a year, is telling weary workers there are almost 33,000 overdue tasks.
The Public Service Association says some of its members say that number has actually been manipulated to make the backlog look better than it is.
