Wikileaks co-founder, Julian Assange, has won the right to appeal to the British Supreme Court against his extradition to the United States.
US authorities want Assange to face long-standing charges relating to the release of vast troves of confidential military records which they said had put lives in danger.
But a high court ruling in London found his case raised issues of legal importance that he could ask the UK's top court to rule on.
