An Anzac Day service to honour our fallen soliders in Paraparaumu ended in outrage, after a group of "common law sheriffs" took to the podium.
The common law movement is based off the idea the government and its laws are fraudulent, so it's up to self-proclaimed sheriffs to be "their own judge, jury and police".
Some members of the crowd left in protest of the group's speech.
Paraparaumu RSA president Philip Simpson spoke to Guyon Espiner.
