New Zealand has joined a dozen Asia-Pacific nations in a new loosely defined economic bloc called the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework
The framework is not a trade agreement, but a set of co-operation standards in areas including supply-chain resilience, climate action, sustainability, and digital trade.
It's being seen as a bid to counter Chinese's growing interest in the region.
