Alan Hall is no longer a convicted murderer and questions are now being asked about the police and lawyers who helped put him behind bars.
The Supreme Court has found a substantial miscarriage of justice and the Solicitor General has launched an investigation into the role of all Crown lawyers involved in the case.
There are also calls for a wider inquiry.
