The Bus and Coach Association says driver shortages won't be resolved until pay is increased nationwide.
The association's annual conference is underway, where a new recruitment campaign is being launched.
Chief executive Ben McFadgen says there's been some progress to improve pay in major cities, but there's a long way to go.
