Proposed speed limit drop irks National Party

New proposed speed limits have sparked the ire of the National Party. Waka Kotahi is proposing to reduce speed limits on some state highways and around schools and maraes on open roads. National's transport spokesperson Simeon Brown is calling the agency's Speed Management Plan a short-sighted quick-fix when it should be making the roads safe to drive on. He spoke to Mani Dunlop.
