A Hamilton dairy owner says he wants accountability for the men who attacked his employee in a violent robbery on Saturday.
The worker has been in hospital recovering from surgery to re-attach a finger and thumb, which were severed by a machete during the attack.
Detective Senior Sergeant Kristine Clarke says it was distressing for everyone involved, and police are still trying to find the four men.
