The government's proposed crackdown on lobbyists is being dismissed as too timid and just about meaningless.
Following RNZ's investigation into political lobbying the Prime Minister has commissioned long-term work on regulating the industry and while that's being done is removing lobbyists' swipe card access to Parliament and asking them to come up with their own code of conduct.
