Kenny Anderson known by his stage name King Creosote is an indie musician from Fife, Scotland
He has collaborated with Jon Hopkins, KT Tunstall, Beta Band’s Lone Pigeon, and had his songs covered and performed by artists including Patti Smith and Simple Minds.
Anderson describes himself as a DIY pop voyager, ancestral seaside home restorer, squeezebox lothario, Fife for lifer, diamond miner, and hijacker of hearts. Fallible, doubtful, patched together, bloody-minded and unbowed.
He has just released a new album called I DES through Domino Records. Charlotte Ryan spoke to King Creosote from his home in Fife.
