Kasey Chambers & Shane Nicholson

Individually Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson have been recording as solo artists or with various bands for over ten years with Kasey becoming one of Australia's most popular female vocalists. The two musicians married in 2005 and 'Rattlin' Bones' is the first record they have made together. Full of tight country harmonies and rootsy, down-home playing, the album puts Kasey and Shane in the league of duos such as Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris and Gillian Welch and David Rawlings. Marty Duda spoke to the couple about the loose, easygoing vibe that helped make 'Rattlin' Bones' the ARIA Best Country Album of 2008.
