Peter Lampp has been digesting the Almanack since he was a small kid. It started in 1935 and still survives, amazingly; kids being contracted by rugby and league while still at school, under pressure from player agents demanding more and more money and two guys have just set a new world egg-throwing record at the NZ Rural Games.
