Over the past three months, Thailand has seen demonstrations of a size unseen since the most recent military coup in 2014. These latest protests have mostly been led by university and high school students across the country, keen to show their solidarity against the junta-transformed government after the controversial Thai general election in March 2019. Purawich Watanasukh is a Research Fellow in the College of Politics and Governance at King Prajadhipok's Institute in Thailand. and he joins me now to give us some insight into what's happening.
