Ayrlies is a country garden near Whitford, southeast of Auckland. It is one of New Zealand's best-known gardens, has been described as the "quintessential New Zealand garden" and is ranked as a Garden of International Significance. It is the recent recipient of the Royal Horticultural Society's Veitch Memorial Medal and Bev McConnell is its creator.
