Earth, Wind & Fire was formed by drummer/songwriter Maurice White in 1969, as a funk band in the style of Sly & The Family Stone, Parliament/Funkadelic and James Brown's JBs. After several personnel changes, the band became one of the slickest, most commercially successful acts of the 1970s, combining funk, soul and disco on hits like 'Shining Star', 'September' and 'Can't Hide Love'. The band's popularity declined during the 1980s, but a newly reconstituted line-up featuring singer Philip Bailey is back with a new album, Now, Then & Forever 1. Help Somebody - Earth, Wind & Fire, taken from 1970 album "Earth, Wind & Fire" (Warner Bros.) 2. Shining Star - Earth, Wind & Fire, taken from 1975 album "That's The Way Of The World" (Columbia) 3. Let's Groove - Earth, Wind & Fire, taken from 1981 album "Raise!" (Columbia) 4. Sign On - Earth, Wind & Fire, taken from 2013 album "Now, Then And Forever" (Columbia)
