8:40 Phillip Toledano - Capturing Memory
When photographer Phillip Toledano's mother died, the full extent of his elderly father's memory loss was revealed. Phillip decided to make his father's life beautiful for as long as the time he had left. He's published a photographic essay of those last few years and he talks to Chris Whitta about the pain and joy of that time - and what he describes as the "constantly surprising" response to the work.
'Days with My Father' by Phillip Toledano is published by Hachette.
9:06 Mediawatch
Mediawatch this weekend looks at two very different topics generating complaints about their coverage in the media lately. We'll hear about the sensitivity surrounding reporting of Middle East affairs - and why many on opposing sides say media treatment isn't fair or balanced. And Mediawatch also looks at the final outcome of Paul Henry's put-down of singing star Susan Boyle. Was it just bad taste? Or something more serious?
Produced and presented by Colin Peacock and Jeremy Rose.
