Given insoles vary widely in price, Auckland University of Technology (AUT) is looking for people with chronic joint pain, or who have flat feet, sore heels (plantar fasciitis), or who are diabetic to trial a bunch of different insoles for five weeks to see which ones are rated tops.
Dr Patria Hume, Professor of Human Performance, is leading the study and joins us to tell us more.
