Last year when Microsoft President Brad Smith and his team were planning a visit to New Zealand they were unaware it would coincide with the Christchurch mosque shootings. Smith met with Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern soon after the tragedy to discuss the prevention of extremism violence online. He was on hand in Paris this week to sign the Christchurch Call to action. He talks to Paul Brennan about the summit and what the tech sector has committed to.
