We've all heard it before, no one wants to work anymore, people are too soft and our kids are out of control.
But are these modern problems or are we looking at the past with rose tinted glasses?
To help us answer that is Paul Fairie, who is a researcher at the University in Calgary and has found fame delving into the archives of newspapers from 50, 70 and 100 years ago.
Paul talks to us about the inspiration behind his archive searches and explains what we think is a modern problem isn't so new at all.
