Verbon Cheung - Nostalgia

We'll listen to some audio from Chris Laidlaw's first programme on June 10, 2001, then Chris talks to Dr VerBon Cheung, a Research Fellow at the Centre for Research on Self and Identity at the University of Southampton. She is involved in a major study on nostalgia and she discusses the complex emotions involved in nostalgia - which is often triggered by a familiar smell, sound, or keepsake, by talking to someone, or by feeling lonely.
