Christchurch council has passed a bylaw banning parking on grass berms. As of March next year it will be a fineable offence to park anywhere on a grass berm. Businesses are against the move, with line company Orion saying it will hamper staff who park on berms while carrying out maintenance. The panellists tell us if this parking annoys them, or whether this bylaw is a bit over the top.
