11:04 PM. Johnny Cash - At Folsom Prison
In 1968 Johnny Cash played a concert at California's notorious Folsom Prison. The performance was recorded and captured the raw energy of the inmates and the camaraderie that he felt for them as a leading voice for prison reform. The programme also features people who were there to see it - prison guards, prisoners, journalists and fellow musician Merle Haggard, who just happened to be an inmate at San Quentin when Cash played there in 1958 (Joyride Media)
