    Hemi Kelly is a licensed translator and a full time lecturer in te reo Maori at AUT. He translated Witi Ihimaera's new novella "Sleeps Standing" - which explores the concluding Battle of Orakau through the eyes of a 16 year old boy. In August 2017 Hemi told  Kathryn Ryan how he  translated Witi's prose word for word, and his te reo text now sits opposite Witi's, page by page in a new publication.

    Don Henley was a founding member of The Eagles - the biggest-selling American band in history. After they broke up in 1980 Henley went solo as a singer-songwriter. He spoke to Kim Hill in February, just before he came to perform in New Zealand
