    The star compass (kāpehu) Ātea a Rangi was unveiled in 2022 at the peak of Mauao. This year the Poutiriao Trust are adorning the kāpehu with a concrete base and bronze arrows that point to various areas in the pacific. Justine Murray is with trust chairman Dean Flavell who explains the work on and around the base of Mauao.
