Bus tours of the cordoned area of central Christchurch are due to start operating in two weeks.
Red Bus was awarded the contract last month to run tours in the red zone, after the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority put the tours out to tender.
Red Bus chief executive Paul McNoe says the tours will be available from 17 July, seven days per week. Tickets will cost $15 for a 40-minute trip.
Mr McNoe says the tours will drive through the cordoned area of the central city, showing the impact of the quakes but will also focus on the city's rebuild.
People will see and hear information through digital imagery and commentary from a Canterbury Museum guide.
